The Norman E. Harpole American Legion Auxiliary Unit 61 is located in Roswell, New Mexico. We are made up of female veterans and the spouses (which now may be male), mothers, daughters, sisters, granddaughters and grandmothers of our nation's military men and women. We aim to honor the sacrifice of those who serve by enhancing the lives of our veterans, military and their families, both at home and abroad. For God and Country, we advocate for veterans, educate our citizens, mentor youth and promote patriotism, good citizenship, peace and security. As members of the American Legion Auxiliary (ALA) we are dedicated to our mission in the spirit of service, not self.
